One Great Fashion Shoot Collaboration! August 01 2015, 1 Comment
Recently we joined forces with some awesome Wellington talent to collaborate on an Editorial Photo Shoot that features many of our earrings and neckpieces:
Louis Sergeant Sweet Couture were after some seriously cool editorial shots for their new Brand campaign, so they asked us and the super-talented team at Woolf Photography to collaborate on a "Marie-Antoinette - meets- Present Day" Studio photo shoot.
The amazing Bex from Willis York Hair Design created the model's incredible hairstyles, whilst the very talented Sharee from Plush Studio created the very modern make-up look for Millie and Islay- our two gorgeous Models from Voda Model Management.
We were so lucky to be able to source designer gowns from Sofia Aroha's Couture Collection and shoes from Mi Piaci- all a perfect complement to our Gatsby earrings, Masai necklaces, Harlequin chokers and Marcasite and Cascade earrings... there were so many beautiful shots, I promise to upload more soon, but here was one of the Final Images for the campaign:
Our Photo-shoot then continued throughout the day, taking us from the Studio location to the great Outdoors, the wild Wellington scenery and some grunge elements as our new backdrop.
There were outfit changes, hair and Makeup adaptations... all in a day's work!
Again, there are loads more images, but these two will give you a wee taste of the variety of shots we took that day:
Islay wears a romantic Bandeau and is looking very 1920's as she reclines against a Bunker wall above Shelley Bay- She wears our beautiful "Taj" Blanc earrings and a custom choker we created using a stamped sterling scroll that sits snugly over a small Crystal Chandelier pendant...Sofia Aroha was lovely enough to lend us some clothes for this shoot too- the lemon silk top creates real drama in this image.
The final part of the day saw our models outside in the tall grass- Millie is wearing our "Daft Punk" massive choker in rope and crystal and chain...Not for the faint-hearted and a fabulous accessory! Again, Doug Mountain (from Woolf) captures the bold colour contrasts in the setting light. We love this image!
We were very lucky to be a part of this Wellington Fashion Collab, thanks to all who participated and thanks to Jess Dewsnap and Doug Mountain from Woolf Photography for their amazing talent.
